SepticFinderNJ.com ("we," "us") is a directory of septic service providers in New Jersey. This policy describes what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. Last updated: July 28, 2026.
Who we are
SepticFinderNJ is a trade name (d/b/a) of ClarityStorm LLC, a New Jersey limited liability company. ClarityStorm LLC operates septicfindernj.com, collects the information described in this policy, and is the sender of every SepticFinderNJ text message. "SepticFinderNJ" and "ClarityStorm LLC" refer to the same business throughout this policy, our SMS Terms, and our SMS opt-in pages. Contact: hello@septicfindernj.com.
Information we collect
- Quote and contact forms. When you submit a service request or listing claim, we collect the information you enter: name, town, the service you need, phone number, email address, and your message.
- Calls to our routing numbers. Some pages display a SepticFinderNJ phone number that connects you with a local septic provider. When you call it, we log the call (caller number, time, duration) to measure our referral service. Calls are not recorded unless a recording notice says otherwise.
- Usage analytics. We use standard analytics (Google Analytics) to understand site traffic — pages viewed, approximate location, and device type.
How we use information
- To fulfill your service request: we share the details you submit with a local septic provider so they can contact you about your request. That is the purpose of the form, and it's the only reason your contact details are shared.
- To respond to listing claims and corrections from providers.
- To measure and improve the directory.
Mobile information and text messaging
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All OPT-IN requests and consent, and any information related to text messaging originator opt-in consent, will not be shared with any third parties or affiliates.
Text messages are sent by ClarityStorm LLC d/b/a SepticFinderNJ and by no one else. If you provide a phone number in our quote form, you may receive a confirmation or follow-up text about your own request. Business partners who enroll in our referral program may receive lead-notification texts after opting in. Message frequency is low and varies. Message and data rates may apply. What we don't do
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your information with third parties for their marketing purposes, and we do not send text messages on behalf of any other company. Information is shared only with the septic service provider fulfilling the request you submitted, and with the vendors that operate our infrastructure (hosting, email delivery, telephone and SMS routing), who process it solely on our behalf and may not use it for their own purposes. Providers listed in the directory are independent businesses; they do not receive our SMS opt-in records or mobile-number consent data.
Data retention & your choices
We keep form submissions and call logs only as long as needed for the purposes above. You can request access to or deletion of your information, or opt out of any communication, by emailing hello@septicfindernj.com. Provider listing data shown on the site is compiled from public sources; providers can request corrections via our claim page.
