SMS Opt-In & Consent
This page documents the SepticFinderNJ text messaging program in full: who sends the messages, how each audience opts in, the exact disclosure shown at the point of consent, and what the messages say. Last updated: July 28, 2026.
Who is sending these messages
ClarityStorm LLC is the registered business that operates this website and sends every message in this program. It does business as — and is publicly known by the brand name — SepticFinderNJ, which is the name shown on septicfindernj.com, in the opt-in disclosures below, and in the body of each message. If you are verifying our messaging registration: the registered brand is "CLARITYSTORM LLC" and SepticFinderNJ is that company's trade name for its New Jersey septic directory — one business, two names, not two companies.
Registered legal entity
ClarityStorm LLC — registered as "CLARITYSTORM LLC", a New Jersey limited liability company (EIN on file), whose corporate site is claritystorm.com. This is the entity registered for A2P 10DLC messaging and the party responsible for this program.
Trade name (d/b/a)
SepticFinderNJ — the brand shown on the website and in messages. Same business, not a separate or third-party company.
Program & contact
SepticFinderNJ lead & service-request notifications. Questions: hello@septicfindernj.com.
The septic companies listed in the directory are independent businesses that we do not message on behalf of and that do not message on our behalf. Their names appear on county pages purely as directory listings. Consent is taken by SepticFinderNJ only, for messages sent by SepticFinderNJ only.
Opt-in path 1 — homeowners requesting service
A homeowner opts in by entering a phone number in the service request form on a SepticFinderNJ county page and submitting it. Live example: septicfindernj.com/sussex-county-nj/ (the form sits directly under the "Need septic service in Sussex County?" heading, near the top of the page). The form is labeled as SepticFinderNJ's own form, and the following disclosure appears immediately above the submit button:
"By submitting this form, you agree that SepticFinderNJ (a trade name of ClarityStorm LLC) may send text messages to the phone number you provide about your service request — for example, a confirmation that your request was received. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies; message & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Your mobile number and SMS consent are never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. See our SMS Terms, Privacy Policy, and SMS opt-in details."
The phone field is optional, and consent is not required to use the directory, to call a provider, or to receive a callback.
Opt-in path 2 — septic providers enrolled in lead notifications
A provider opts in either in writing, via the enrollment form on our partner SMS consent page, or verbally, via the script published verbatim on that same page. The written form requires actively checking a box that is unchecked by default:
"I agree to receive text message lead notifications from SepticFinderNJ, a trade name of ClarityStorm LLC, at the mobile number I provided above. Message frequency varies with lead volume. Message & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time or HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of enrollment. My mobile number and this consent will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. I have read the SMS Terms and Privacy Policy."
Each verbal consent is recorded with the business name, contact name, mobile number, and the date and time consent was given. Consent is never a condition of being listed in the directory or of receiving referrals.
Sample messages
These are the only two message templates in the program.
To an enrolled provider: "New lead from SepticFinderNJ: Jane D. in Sparta needs septic tank pumping. Contact: (973) 555-0100. Ref lead_8f723741. Reply STOP to opt out."
To a homeowner who submitted a request: "SepticFinderNJ: We received your septic service request. A local septic professional will follow up shortly. Msg&data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out."
Frequency, rates, opting out
- Low volume and transactional. Homeowners typically receive one confirmation per request; providers receive one message per lead in their area.
- Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile carrier plan.
- Reply STOP to any message to opt out — you receive one final confirmation and no further messages. Reply START to opt back in.
- Reply HELP for help, or email hello@septicfindernj.com.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Privacy
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All OPT-IN requests and consent, and any information related to text messaging originator opt-in consent, will not be shared with any third parties or affiliates. Full details are in our Privacy Policy; the program terms are in our SMS Terms & Conditions.
